Ignorance is Bliss
Another heavy topic but believe me its very interesting. According to dictionary world, Ignorance is bliss means “Not knowing something is often more comfortable than knowing it”. Its such a simple definition but got a lot hidden in it.
Let me elaborate it in my way with a simple example,
A person who is afraid of ghosts might prefer not to know that someone died in the house in which he is currently living. One more example, When a person is very happy in his relationship because he doesn’t know that his girlfriend is cheating but is then devastated when he finds out the truth, this is an example of a time when ignorance was bliss.
Now I hope you might be getting the basic idea reflected by the idiom. Let me get much deeper in this topic. We all often get hurt, reason is unfruitful expectations. We expect because we believe something. Engineers are well versed with it because when they appear for exams and have studied only the repeated university questions and then they get shocked to see newly asked questions. Believe me this is worst feeling ever. Its hurts badly when things don’t fall in their places as desired.
Have you ever experience that the more you explore the more you become conscious about that particular thing. For example, when we read about adverse effects of changing lifestyle on health then automatically your mind will start taking care about things that affect health. It holds you up in unnecessary worries and depression. You don’t stop a habit until you get to know how it hammers your health.
Lets come to some meaningful deduction from the so made discussion. We should always remain calm and composed. When we believe in something then don’t let small upsets break it. Don’t think to much about any topic that gives birth to expectations because as you start expecting you start relying on something else and if things don’t go as per assumption then you get hurt. So underline the words “No demands No complaints”. This way of thinking will lead you to tension free life . So stop expecting and stay happy, keep doing your work and you will get its reward on right time.
